Web Advanced Program
Calling all Web Developers!
IBDE Web Advanced is a four-course online web development program that runs from June to October this year. You can complete the entire program or any particular course you desire.
Learn to add functionality and interactivity to your websites with PHP and MySQL. Website owners, learn to improve your site ranking with Tools for SEO and attract even more traffic to your site with Blogging for Business ~ WordPress CMS.
Complete *all four courses and earn your Certificate in Advanced Web Technologies and Design from Selkirk College. (*Certain conditions apply. Please inquire.)
Courses include:
- IBDE202: Introduction to PHP Programming (1 of 2)
- IBDE204: Advanced PHP and MySQL (2 of 2)
- IBDE208: Tools for SEO
- IBDE209: Blogging for Business ~ WordPress CMS
IBDE Web Advanced is available to any graduate from IBDE Web Essentials with the prerequisite skill level or any established web designer based on skill level.
(Note: Registration does not guarantee admittance. Course acceptance is subject to departmental approval. Note: Entrance to PHP and MySQL requires students to have intermediate to advanced HTML and CSS skills.)

Course Supplies: Please allow approximately $100 to cover additional costs for each course, i.e., for IBDE208/209, an extended subscription to Wordtracker or a paid domain and hosting for your blog.
Note: You can complete the entire program or select any particular course you desire. Students who successfully complete *all four courses will be awarded a Certificate in Advanced Web Technologies and Design from Selkirk College. (*Certain conditions apply. Please inquire.)
*Note: Annual course offering is subject to sufficient enrolment. Therefore, students wishing to earn the advanced certificate are encouraged to complete all four courses in the current study period. Prior advanced course students who completed Dreamweaver 8 or Dreamweaver CS5, please inquire.
